Ceefax reporting preliminary tests on a swan in Fife have been confirmed the H5 avian flu present.
The area is currently sealed off. If it is confirmed as the deadly H5N1 strain then further restrictions will be put in place.

I'm hearing that locals in Cellardyke don't normally see swans.
Could this be an EDI/Leith swan washed up on the tide?

if it does start speading, I hope those seagulls in neighbouring Anstruther get it. They could do with thinning out.
