PIK have announced a new property section on their website and included among the properties on offer is more or less the whole of HMS Gannet. The reportedly very lucrative MOD contract has clearly come to an end and the rental income which largely bankrolled the entire operation from the Hugh Hudson days is now dependent on a rapidly chilling commercial property market. To add to the woes, I understand from local sources that much of the the property portfolio has been maintained to the same standard as the airport railway station. Coupled with the rumour of Atlas apparently pulling out it seems PIK Management might not have their sorrows to seek .....

Infratil stuffed the MOD with "Greensite" which is the site acroos the road from the Airside area of Gannett. The amounts were quite considerable and way above the going rate. This was on top of PIK classing the Fixed Fuelinh instalation on the Gannet Airside area and built and paid for by the MOD as an improvement listed in the rent review. Not to mention the £500 per movement on Search and Rescue flights!!!!!

The greensite areas have been uninhabited and can not be leased due to contamination in the older buildings! This is just a joke on PIK's part and could end costly!!!

When we looked at an office they wanted £12K per year!! The same office is now £2500!!!
