Just read that Microsoft have just sacked the entire Flight Simulator team and will ne longer be developing any new systems!

They have closed the studio that was responsible for developing FS (ACES), and sacked all the staff. They are currently advertising for a project manager to head up flight sim development, so it looks like they will be continuing development.
